Zendesk tells you a ticket arrived. It doesn't make you notice. Zendesk Ticket Notifier watches the views you actually work and makes a sound the moment something lands — a new ticket, a customer reply, a status change, an escalation. It runs in your browser, polls every 30 seconds, and puts one button in front of you: Take It. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Zendesk Inc. WHAT IT DOES • Real-time alerts on your Zendesk views New tickets, customer replies, status changes and assignments — each with its own sound if you want one. Colour-coded per view, so you know where a ticket came from before you read it. • Take It — claim a ticket in one click From the popup or straight from the desktop notification. Assignment only: nothing else on the ticket is touched. • SLA guardian Reads the real breach time from your Zendesk SLA policies and escalates as it approaches — a heads-up at half the window, a warning at 25% left, a looping alarm at 10%. The toolbar icon becomes a live countdown when a deadline gets close. Choose whether nudging stops when someone takes the ticket or when it's solved, and set a fallback timer for tickets with no SLA policy attached. • Reply timer When a pending or solved ticket flips back to Open, a customer is waiting. Set your team's target and get told before you miss it. • Night Shift Silences the queue through your sleep hours while keeping a loud wake-up alarm armed for exactly the tickets you choose — urgent only, assigned to you, or everything. A morning summary at your wake time lists what still needs someone, skipping whatever was handled overnight. • A two-minute guided setup Pick the closest fit — frontline triage, ticket owner, or escalations only — and about a dozen options are set at once. Then it walks you through every one of them so you can adjust. Reopen the guide any time. • Filters, so it only makes noise when it should Watch specific views or all of them. Filter by priority. Filter by keyword in the subject. Snooze for 15 minutes to 2 hours. Auto-clear tickets that go solved or pending so the log only shows what still needs you. • Six sounds, and a different one per event or per view Chime, bell, ding, soft, alert, urgent — with the volume where you put it. PRIVACY There is no account, no server, and no analytics. The extension talks to your own Zendesk subdomain using the session you are already signed into, and stores everything it knows in your browser. No ticket content, no email address and no usage data is ever sent anywhere. Your settings are also mirrored locally, so a browser sync hiccup or an extension update can't reset your configuration. Permissions, and why: • storage — remembers your settings and alert log • alarms — schedules the polling and the wake-up timers • notifications — shows the desktop alerts • offscreen — plays the alert sound reliably in the background • *.zendesk.com — reads your views through the Zendesk API, as you REQUIREMENTS Chrome 120 or later, and a Zendesk agent account. Keep a Zendesk tab open — that is how the extension knows you're on shift and stays signed in. SLA deadlines require SLA policies on your Zendesk plan (Professional and above); if yours doesn't have them, the fallback timer covers unclaimed tickets instead.
