)Overview
Cookie editor and manager: view, edit, block, import/export cookies and compare snapshots. Local tools for testing and privacy.
Take control of website cookies from one compact workspace. This cookie manager combines a cookie editor and cookie viewer with practical tools for web testing, debugging, consent checks and everyday cleanup. FIND THE COOKIE YOU NEED Work with the current website or enter another hostname. Search by name, value, domain or path, sort the list, and copy, edit, block or remove a cookie directly from its row. Select several cookies for bulk actions without losing your place. EDIT WITH CONFIDENCE Create cookies with simple defaults or optional advanced settings. The focused editor puts the value, domain, path, expiration, SameSite, Secure, HTTP-only and session settings together. Sensitive-looking login, session and token values are masked in the popup cookie list and snapshot comparisons; by default, each reveal there requires confirmation. Always masked keeps those values hidden in these views. Opening a cookie in the editor exposes its value. SEE WHAT CHANGED WITH SNAPSHOTS Save a baseline for a website, then compare it with the current cookies after a login, consent choice, reload or test. See which cookies were added, removed or changed, including differences in values and settings. Snapshots contain complete cookie values and stay in local browser storage until you delete or replace them. Treat them as sensitive data, even when values are masked on screen. BLOCK RETURNING COOKIES AND AUTOMATE CLEANUP Build a per-site blocklist of cookie names. If a website recreates a blocked cookie, it is removed again when Chrome reports the change. Set automatic cleanup for selected names after reload, when the last tab for that website closes, or after a delay. These are cookie-management rules, not a general ad or tracker blocker. IMPORT AND EXPORT IN FAMILIAR FORMATS Use JSON backups, Netscape cookie files or Cookie header text. Export all cookies or just a selection; paste data for import with automatic format detection. Imports stay limited to the website being managed. Useful for QA, browser automation and repeatable testing workflows. FOLLOW RECENT COOKIE ACTIVITY The local cookie timeline shows created, updated and deleted cookies from the last seven days. Optional in-page cookie alerts are off by default. Enable them for the current website or all websites when you need them. LOCAL BY DESIGN Cookie management and operational settings are processed locally in Chrome. Cookie values, snapshots, rules and timeline data are not sent to the developer or third parties. Copying or exporting creates data you control and can share yourself. Cookies can contain active login sessions: handle snapshots, clipboard content and exported files carefully. Add to Chrome and make your next cookie check faster, clearer and easier to repeat.
