BoringByDesign - Software that minds its own business. A growing collection of local-first, private by design, simple by choice mini apps — built to be genuinely useful and nothing more. Three rules, no exceptions: - Local-first: Your data lives on your device by default. Apps work fully offline — no server has to be up for your notes, lists, or files to open. - Private by design: No accounts, no trackers, no analytics phoning home. What you make is yours — export it, back it up, or delete it. It's your call. - Simple by choice: Every app does one thing well, on purpose. No feature creep, no upsells, no onboarding tour. Open it and start. After providing great PWA versions of this app on my website, https://boringbydesign.com, I saw the need (for me, at least) to have them closer to me while browsing, so I decided to repackage them inside a Browser Extension but keeping the same experience that you would experience when using the PWAs. I will keep the PWAs available and will sync all new features, bug fixes and more across these two experiences. This was made for me, but I bet someone else will find them useful too.
