BoPMan
Overview
Tap to find your BPM. Lock it in. BoPMan pulses at that tempo so you can keep the beat.
What do you do when you hear a beat? You bop, man. Most tap tempo tools stop at showing you a number. BoPMan goes further - lock in a BPM and a visual pulse keeps beating so you can use it hands-free while you work. How it works Tap the beat with your mouse, keyboard, or spacebar. BoPMan calculates a rolling average from your taps and shows a live reading from the second tap onwards. When you're happy with the reading, lock it - the extension switches to a persistent pulsing display that keeps the tempo visible even after you close and reopen the popup. Features Tap tempo with rolling 6-tap window for accuracy Live BPM reading from tap 2 onwards Lock BPM to a persistent visual pulse Manual BPM entry (20–300) Fine-tune with ± nudge buttons after locking Optional beep on every beat BPM shown on the toolbar icon - visible without opening the popup No permissions required - completely private, no tab access, no data collected Who it's for Musicians, producers, DJs, drummers, dancers, fitness instructors - anyone who needs to know a tempo and keep track of it while doing something else.
