Hand your notes to an AI for summaries and reviews. ■ What you can do • Import your Kindle highlights and notes (reads the "Notes and Highlights" page of Kindle Cloud Reader using your own signed-in session). Works with 13 Amazon stores: Amazon.com (US), UK, Canada, Australia, India, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Japan, Brazil, and Mexico. • Listening mode: while it's on, recording and transcription start whenever you speak, and after 8 seconds of silence it's saved as one voice note. Toggle it with the shortcut (Alt+Shift+R). • Voice notes are linked to highlights automatically, based on when you spoke and when you made each highlight (when the time can't decide, the highlight furthest into the book among those made in the last 24 hours). Low-confidence links are marked "Needs review" so you can confirm or change them later. • One notes screen for spoken notes and notes typed in Kindle, filtered by book, period, tag, keyword, and more • Add books that aren't on Kindle (paper books and other e-books) by title, and keep the voice notes you speak while reading them • Bookshelf, all highlights, full-text search, tags, and reading status • Export to Markdown (readable as is in Obsidian and similar apps), CSV, and Notion • Share the same bookshelf with the Android app through your own cloud folder (Google Drive, Dropbox, Syncthing, and more). In the Android app, sharing and exporting are Pro features ■ Your data stays with you Highlights, voice notes, and audio are kept only on your PC, in the storage folder you choose, and in the export folder you choose when exporting Markdown. They're never sent to our servers. Records in the storage folder are stored encrypted. When you export Markdown, readable, unencrypted Markdown files are written to your export folder (or to the books folder in your storage folder if you haven't chosen one). ■ Transcription By default, the browser's built-in speech recognition is used, which sends audio to Google's speech recognition service the whole time listening mode is on. To keep audio on your PC, choose high-accuracy whisper that runs offline (audio never leaves your PC; the model is downloaded only when you use it) or "Use on-device recognition only" (it transcribes only when Chrome supports on-device recognition; otherwise only the recording is saved, to be transcribed later with whisper or the Android app).
