It never uploads your bookmarks, search queries, or browsing history to an external server. General display preferences can sync through your browser profile when enabled, while per-site visibility rules, pinned folder choices, visit counters, and folder colors stay on your device. Only HTTP, HTTPS, and mailto bookmark links are rendered or opened. The in-page bar runs inside an isolated extension container so website styles and scripts do not interfere with your bookmarks. HOW IT WORKS After installation, follow the built-in setup tour, choose a starting layout, and optionally hide Chrome's default bookmark bar. Expand BookmarkFlow with the compact BF button, open the command palette with the search button or Alt + Shift + K, and customize keyboard shortcuts anytime at chrome://extensions/shortcuts. IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS Browsers do not allow extensions to display in-page bars on internal browser pages such as chrome:// settings or the Chrome Web Store itself. BookmarkFlow provides its own dedicated New Tab workspace page where all features remain available.
