Lost bookmarks after a sync went wrong, or deleted a folder by accident? Bookmark Rewind keeps versions of your bookmarks and gets them back in one click. Free, with no account. What it does • Automatic versions: a backup is saved a few minutes after your bookmarks change, plus one a day. Identical versions are not stored twice. • See what changed: pick any version to see which bookmarks are missing now and which were added since. • Restore without risk: "Restore missing" only adds back what is gone and never deletes anything. You can also restore a single folder or chosen bookmarks. • Restore exactly: make your bookmarks match an older version. A backup is taken first, and one click undoes it. • Export and import standard bookmark HTML files that Chrome, Edge and Firefox can open. • Optional sync through your own WebDAV storage (Nextcloud, Synology, Koofr, Jianguoyun and others) between Chrome, Edge, Brave and other Chromium browsers. Changes from both sides are merged, and a sync that would delete many bookmarks waits for your confirmation. Private by design • Backups stay on your device. There is no account and no server of ours. • Sync sends bookmarks only to the WebDAV address you enter. The permission for that address is requested only when you connect. • No tracking, no ads, no analytics. Notes • If Chrome sync is on, restored bookmarks also sync to your other devices signed in to the same account. • Moving or renaming a folder is synced as a new folder with the same bookmarks. • Google Drive sync is planned for a later version.
