📌 What it does This extension helps you update an existing bookmark to reflect your latest reading progress, based on a configurable overwrite depth. Instead of creating many similar bookmarks, you can keep one bookmark that moves forward with you, while staying fully in control of how much of the URL is allowed to change. ⚙ Configure overwrite depth in Options The overwrite depth is configured in the Options page: Set how deep a bookmark can be overwritten Control URL path replacement behavior Apply consistent rules across your browsing sessions Once configured, the depth rule is applied whenever you update a bookmark. 🔁 How it works Open the extension Options page and configure the overwrite depth Browse to a page within a website Click the extension button The existing bookmark is updated according to your configured depth rule The bookmark’s name and folder remain unchanged — only the URL is updated. 🎯 Typical use cases Learning tutorials or documentation step by step Following structured guides with clear page hierarchy Keeping a single bookmark as a progress marker Example: css Copy code /html/html-forms.html → /html/html-colors.html (overwritten according to the configured depth)
