Overview

Open a random bookmark from your saved Chrome bookmarks. Filter by site, shuffle, and set reminders. No account needed.

Bookmark of the Day is a random bookmark opener for Chrome. It picks one link from your saved bookmarks and opens it, so the articles, docs, and tools you meant to read come back around instead of sitting in a folder forever. WHAT IT DOES - Opens a random bookmark from your Chrome bookmarks in one click - Shuffle to another pick without leaving the page - Filter picks by website, so only the sites you choose can appear - Removes a bookmark you no longer need, right from the page - Sets a one-hour reminder to come back later - Avoids repeats until every eligible bookmark has been opened - Opens one bookmark automatically when Chrome starts, if you turn that on WHO IT IS FOR Developers, designers, researchers, and anyone with hundreds of saved links and no system. It works with the bookmarks you already have: no import, no new folders, and no second bookmark manager to maintain. HOW TO USE 1. Click the toolbar icon or press Ctrl+Shift+B (Command+Shift+B on Mac). 2. Use the menu on the page to shuffle, remove the bookmark, or set a reminder. 3. Open Settings to choose which websites can appear in your picks, or to turn on startup picks. STARTUP PICKS Off by default. If you turn it on in Settings, Bookmark of the Day opens one bookmark when you start Chrome. It opens at most one per day, and turning it off stops it immediately. It never opens a tab while the setting is off. PRIVACY Your bookmarks stay in Chrome. The extension reads them locally, keeps its rotation on your device, and sends no bookmark data to a server. No account and no sign-in required. Bookmark of the Day is free. Feedback is welcome through the link in Settings.
