Bookmark New Tab
Overview
Displays your bookmarks in a beautiful tree view on the new tab page
Bookmark New Tab replaces Chrome's default new tab page with a clean, modern view of all your bookmarks — organized exactly how you left them. Features: • Column Layout — Top-level folders displayed side by side in a responsive card grid, giving you a dashboard-like overview of all your bookmarks at a glance. • Tree Layout — Classic nested tree view with expand/collapse, just like a file explorer. Switch between layouts with one click. • Instant Search — Filter bookmarks by name in real time. Matching text is highlighted and non-matching folders are hidden automatically. Use Ctrl+K or / to focus the search bar. • Folder Visibility — Choose which folders to show or hide from the settings panel. Declutter your new tab by showing only the folders that matter to you. • Light, Dark & System Theme — Three theme options: Light, Dark, or System (follows your OS preference). Your choice is saved and applied instantly. • Favicon Display — Each bookmark shows its site favicon for quick visual recognition. • Keyboard Shortcuts — Ctrl+K or / to search, Escape to clear and close. • Zero Tracking — No analytics, no data collection, no external requests. Everything runs locally in your browser. Bookmark New Tab is lightweight, fast, and works entirely offline. It only uses the Chrome Bookmarks API and Favicon API — no other permissions needed.
