Turn the links you save in Chrome into a useful Notion library. Bookmark Assistant syncs Chrome bookmarks, Reading List items, and the page open in your current tab to a dedicated Notion database. Use it as a simple Notion web clipper, a bookmark manager, or both. WHAT YOU CAN DO Review your library before you sync The local Bookmark Library Report shows bookmark and Reading List counts, duplicate groups, and uncategorized bookmarks. It is generated inside the extension, so your full library is not uploaded to create the report. Sync bookmarks and Reading List items Run a manual sync whenever you choose. Bookmark Assistant shows a clear result when it finishes. Save the current page Save the page open in your current tab without adding it to Chrome bookmarks first. Use optional AI summaries and tags Add one API key from a supported AI provider to create a concise summary and 3 to 5 topic tags for eligible newly saved pages. Bookmark Assistant supports OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, and selected OpenAI-compatible providers such as DeepSeek. Your key is encrypted for your account. When AI is enabled, Bookmark Assistant sends the eligible page's readable text, title, and URL to the provider you choose. It does not persist full page text, raw prompts, or raw provider responses after processing. Results are written to the existing Description and Tags properties in your Notion template. Once an item has been processed, it is not processed again automatically, so later edits in Notion stay yours. Pro users can queue AI processing for newly synced pages. Keep useful page details When websites make the information available, Bookmark Assistant keeps details such as the page title, URL, description, bookmark folder, tags, source type, reading status, and favicon. Avoid duplicate entries Stable link handling helps identify bookmarks that already exist in Notion. Bookmark Assistant creates new entries, updates changed items, and skips duplicates when possible. Connect through Notion OAuth Choose your Notion workspace and duplicate the Bookmark Assistant template during connection. OAuth means you never paste your Notion password into the extension. Schedule background sync with Pro Manual sync is available without Pro. Pro users can enable scheduled background sync with configurable intervals starting at 6 hours. No. AI results are written to the template's existing Description and Tags properties. An item is not processed again automatically after that, so changes you make in Notion are preserved. Can I connect any Notion database? The managed OAuth flow uses the Bookmark Assistant template. Duplicate that template into the workspace you want to use, then connect the database inside the copy. How does Pro auto-sync work? Pro users can enable scheduled background sync. The shortest configurable interval is 6 hours, and you can turn it off at any time. How is the Notion connection authorized? Bookmark Assistant uses Notion OAuth. Data is sent over HTTPS and written only to the Notion workspace and database you authorize.
