BookBid Assistant helps you know how much you can pay per click in Amazon Ads before going past your book's break-even point. It shows its suggestions right next to each bid, using the data for the date range selected in Amazon Ads, and never changes anything unless you apply it. ## HOW IT CALCULATES BookBid works out the break-even maximum bid from three figures: clicks, purchases and royalty per copy. **Clicks ÷ Purchases** = how many clicks you need, on average, to get one purchase. **Royalty ÷ Clicks per purchase** = the break-even maximum cost per click. For example, if a row has 10 clicks, 2 purchases and a royalty of €4: **10 ÷ 2 = 5 clicks per purchase** **€4 ÷ 5 = €0.80 per click** This figure is a profitability limit, not a guarantee or a bid you should apply automatically. If a row has not sold yet, BookBid compares what you have spent with what one sale would leave you, and warns you when it no longer fits. ## WHAT YOU WILL SEE ON EACH ROW · **Raise or lower the bid**, with the calculated amount, which you can copy into the bid field with one click. · **Pause or review**, when keeping a target active may not pay off. For broad or phrase keywords, BookBid suggests lowering the bid or reviewing their search terms instead of pausing them. · **Spend warning**, when a row with no sales has already spent more than one sale would leave you. · **Observe or wait**, when there is not enough data yet to change anything. Hover over any suggestion to see its calculation and the reason behind it. ## WHERE IT WORKS BookBid Assistant works in supported **Targeting** and **Search terms** tables for Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and some video campaigns. It is available in the twelve Amazon Ads marketplaces currently included in the extension. ## YOU ALWAYS DECIDE BookBid Assistant **does not change your campaigns automatically**. When it suggests a new bid, it can copy the amount into the matching field, but you decide whether to apply it and you click **Save** or **Apply** in Amazon Ads. ## YOUR DATA IS YOURS BookBid reads only the data it needs from the Amazon Ads tables you are viewing, to run its calculations and show its suggestions. The metrics and bids it uses are processed locally in your browser and are not stored on our servers. Your book details and some preferences may sync between your own devices through Chrome sync. Our servers only store the information needed to manage access to the service, such as your email address and subscription status. ## FOR MORE REPRESENTATIVE DATA We recommend selecting a date range of at least **30 days** in Amazon Ads. With few clicks or few purchases, any calculation rests on a small sample and can change considerably as new data comes in. ## CURRENT COMPATIBILITY BookBid Assistant is currently designed for **print books**. Ebooks can earn extra income from Kindle Unlimited pages read (KENP), which is not yet included in the calculation. ## TRIAL AND SUBSCRIPTION BookBid Assistant includes **90 days free with all features**.
