Fill logins and use passkeys with your Boltwarden desktop vault.

Boltwarden connects Chrome to the Boltwarden desktop password manager, bringing your Bitwarden or Vaultwarden vault into your browser. REQUIRED DESKTOP APP This extension requires the separate Boltwarden desktop app. It does not work as a standalone password manager. Download the app, check supported platforms, and find installation instructions: https://github.com/vleeuwenmenno/boltwarden FEATURES • Fill matching logins using inline suggestions, the toolbar popup, or Ctrl+Shift+L. • Save new or updated passwords with approval in the desktop app. • Fill supported verification-code fields. • Fill saved credit cards on HTTPS pages after explicit selection. The extension never submits payments. • Use supported passkeys on HTTPS websites. Passkey support is experimental. GETTING STARTED Install and run the Boltwarden desktop app. In Settings → Browser setup, register Chrome and enable browser integration. Pair the extension by comparing the fingerprint displayed in Chrome and the desktop app. A Bitwarden or Vaultwarden account is required to use your vault. The official Bitwarden browser extension is not required. PRIVACY Vault unlocking and sensitive approvals stay in the desktop app. The extension exchanges relevant website and credential information with the local app to provide its features.
