Overview

Your pinned tabs are restored at every browser start: the right addresses, the right order, no duplicates.

Chromium restores your pinned tabs at every browser start - but with whatever address they happened to be on when you closed the browser. And if you also keep a list of startup pages, the same sites open a second time. The result is a tab strip full of duplicates, and no browser setting fixes it. Pinned Tabs Keeper does. You set the list once: the addresses you want pinned, in the order you want them. At every browser start the extension matches the open tabs against your list - by site, so claude.ai/some/deep/page is recognised as your claude.ai entry - returns each tab to the right address, pins it, puts it in the right place, creates whatever is missing and closes the extra copies. During the session it never interferes. Browse wherever you like: everything returns to place at the next start. WHAT YOU CAN SET • The list itself - add tabs by hand or import them from the current window, drag rows to reorder, decide for each row whether it is pinned. • Close duplicates - extra tabs of the sites from your list are closed at startup. • Strict mode - close every other tab of the window at startup. • Keep a New Tab page at startup - one empty tab stays at the end of the strip. • Keep one tab open at all times - when the last unpinned tab is closed, an empty New Tab opens instead of leaving you with only pinned ones. • Delay after browser start - how long to give the browser to finish restoring the session. A click on the toolbar icon opens a panel: the current tab with an Add button, your list with an indicator showing what is already open, the main switches, and an Apply now button. PRIVACY The extension makes no network requests of any kind. It asks for no access to the content of web pages. Nothing is collected, nothing is sent anywhere, nothing is stored outside your own browser profile. Permissions used: • tabs - to read tab addresses and to open, pin, move and close tabs. This is the extension's entire job. • storage - to keep your list and settings, synced through your browser account. • favicon - to show site icons in the list, taken from the browser's own local cache. Interface available in English, Russian, French, Spanish, German, Italian and Chinese. Works in Brave, Chrome, Edge, Vivaldi and other Chromium browsers.
