Overview

Bobby for school-managed Chromebooks. Mac and Windows students use the BobbyBrowser desktop app from bobbybrowser.com/download.

Bobby is an AI learning companion that schools deploy for their students. During an assignment, Bobby: • tutors Socratically, asking questions rather than handing over answers • keeps students on the resources their teacher chose • blocks AI-answer tools and content inappropriate for school (CIPA categories) • gives the teacher a live view of the class so they can help students who are stuck Outside of an assignment, Bobby collects nothing at all. Bobby is installed by school administrators for their students. It is not intended for general consumer use.
