BoardBoost turns Blackboard Learn Ultra into a cleaner, customizable student workspace while keeping academic information in the student's own Chrome profile. STAY ORGANIZED WITHOUT A SEPARATE ACCOUNT • See Blackboard-sourced deadlines together with personal tasks. • Track the selected focus window with an optional centered completion circle, percentage, and finished/in-focus counts. • Automatically mark supported work complete when Blackboard records it as submitted, graded, participated in, or complete. • Keep manual completion for student-created tasks and unsupported items. • Review course announcements, filter unread posts, and explicitly mark an announcement read. • Show released overall grades on Blackboard's native course cards when enabled. • Add private tasks, reminders, and course-linked notes. • Rename courses, choose colors, add local cover images, pin courses, and switch between list, card, and compact layouts. • Apply coordinated light, dark, paper, mist, sage, rose, ocean, dusk, and high-contrast themes across supported Blackboard pages. • Choose the dashboard side, width, spacing, focus window, and completed-item behavior; refresh only the Blackboard page currently being viewed. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • BoardBoost does not access Blackboard until the student accepts its in-product disclosure. • Blackboard content, student-created information, local course covers, and preferences stay in chrome.storage.local in the current Chrome profile. • There is no BoardBoost account, developer-operated data server, analytics, advertising, tracking, remote code, or sale of data. • Removing BoardBoost from Chrome removes its locally stored data. BoardBoost only displays academic items collected from Blackboard pages or tasks the student explicitly creates. Deep items inside collapsed learning modules and third-party course tools may require opening the relevant Blackboard page before they can be indexed. BoardBoost is an independent student tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or produced by Anthology, Blackboard, or any educational institution.
