Overview

Add jobs straight to CareerInView. Review the details later in your tracker.

Save jobs as you browse, then keep your applications organized in CareerInView. Choose Add job on a supported listing to send the company, role, location, job link, and description straight to your tracker. New jobs start as Saved with a Needs review badge so you can check the details later. WORKS WITH YOUR JOB SEARCH • Save selected listings from LinkedIn, Indeed, Handshake, and company pages that expose supported job information. • Get a save question on LinkedIn Apply or Easy Apply, Indeed Apply with Indeed, and Handshake Quick apply. • Prompts start on after you enable job-site access. Each supported site's switch lets you turn them off. • Saved jobs skip repeated prompts. LinkedIn employer redirects stay linked to the original job. • Indeed and Handshake saves read the public job listing, not the application form. • Avoid duplicate records for the same saved job. A CLEARER SAVE FLOW • See Saved or Already saved with the saved company, role, and status. • Choose View application to open that record in your tracker, reusing a tracker tab in the same window when available. • Use Retry after a failed save, with checks for the current page, account, permissions, and existing record. • The popup follows your CareerInView layout style. KEEP EACH APPLICATION TOGETHER • On a company page, choose an existing application to link the page or update its status. • With application tracking enabled, a clear submission confirmation on a supported company site can change Saved to Applied. Clicking Apply alone never changes the status. • With tracking enabled on supported company sites, capture the resume and cover letter you select in supported file fields. In CareerInView, uploaded files can be reused through a dropdown. Connected advisors can view files attached to your applications. YOU CHOOSE WHAT TO SAVE Enable job sites once during setup to allow access to HTTPS job websites. Showing a save question does not read job details. Job details are read after Add job; employer-page tracking and file capture require the separate Track this application choice. Indeed and Handshake application forms are not read or tracked. The extension never fills in or submits job applications. A signed-in CareerInView student workspace is required. Open your tracker once to connect it, then use the extension on supported listings. Some websites or application steps may not expose readable details or clear confirmation messages; you can update those records manually in your tracker.
