OkayTab: Scam Blocker

A full-page warning in front of fake shops, phishing pages and fake virus alerts, before you type a password or pay.

OkayTab is a scam blocker for Chrome, Edge and Firefox. It checks every new site you open and puts a full-page warning in front of fake shops, phishing pages and fake virus alerts, before you type a password or pay. Most of the time you see nothing. Sites you use every day are known and skip the check. A new site gets a quick check and, when it looks fine, a small "Looks okay" badge that fades away. WHAT IT STOPS • Fake shops with prices that are too good to be true • Phishing pages that copy a bank, a parcel service or an email login • Fake virus and tech support alerts that tell you to call a number • Fake payment pages for parcel fees, fines or renewals THREE PLAIN ANSWERS • Looks okay: nothing changes, you keep browsing. • Not sure: an amber warning asks you to take a moment. You can still continue. • Not okay: the page is stopped. One big button takes you back. MADE FOR FAMILIES Many people install OkayTab on a parent's computer. You sign in with your own email. Your parent needs no account and has nothing to learn. You see how many sites OkayTab stopped, never which sites they visit. One plan covers up to 3 browsers. ONLY A SUMMARY To check a site, OkayTab sends a short summary of it to our server: the address without anything after the "?", the title, the description, the headings and the links. Never what you type, passwords, cookies or the page text. HOW TO START 1. Add OkayTab to your browser. 2. Sign in on okaytab.app with a 6-digit code we email you, or with Google. 3. Choose a plan. OkayTab needs a plan. There is no free version. Works in Chrome, Edge and Firefox on a computer. Keep your antivirus: OkayTab works next to it.
