Tab Declutter
Overview
Find duplicate tabs, close the extras, hibernate unused tabs, and save window sessions for later.
Tab Declutter helps you tidy a crowded browser window without losing anything you meant to keep. Open the popup and it groups the tabs in your current window by identical address, so you can see at a glance which pages you have open more than once, along with each tab's title and how many copies there are. One click on Close duplicates keeps the first tab in each group and closes the rest, and the popup confirms exactly how many tabs it closed. If your browser feels slow, Hibernate unused tabs frees up memory by discarding tabs that are not active, not pinned, and not playing sound. Those tabs stay in your tab bar with their titles intact, and they simply reload the next time you click on them — nothing is closed. Session snapshots are for work you want to pick up later. Give the snapshot a name and save the current window, and Tab Declutter stores the tabs' addresses and titles on your device. Your saved snapshots are listed in the popup, where you can restore one into a fresh window or delete it when you no longer need it. Saving with a name that already exists asks you to click Save a second time to confirm overwriting, so an existing snapshot is never replaced by accident. Everything runs locally in your browser. Tab Declutter makes no network requests, collects no analytics, and never sends your tab list or snapshots anywhere.
