Save the words you use often and give them a shorter way in. Text Shortcut Manager turns a trigger such as ;thanks into a saved message when you press Space or Tab. Use it for everyday replies, meeting follow-ups, and other reusable plain text. Your library stays in your Chrome profile, with no account, subscription, or external service required. HOW TO START 1. Open the extension and select Open your library. 2. Create a shortcut starting with a semicolon, such as ;followup. 3. Type that trigger in a supported website text field, then press Space or Tab. Three working sample shortcuts are included: ;thanks, ;brb, and ;meet. LOCAL PROCESSING The extension makes no network requests and uses no remote code, analytics, advertising, or Chrome Sync. It does not keep a typing or browsing-history log. Your saved shortcuts remain in local Chrome storage. Backups are readable JSON files. WEBSITE ACCESS Website access lets the extension detect a trigger near the cursor and insert the text you saved. You can restrict access in Chrome or exclude websites in the extension. Text inserted into a website can be read by that website, just like text you type yourself. COMPATIBILITY Supports ordinary text fields, text areas, and basic rich text editors, including supported embedded editors. Chrome's New Tab search box, the address bar, internal Chrome pages, PDF viewers, shadow DOM fields, and some complex editors are unsupported. It is a browser extension, not a system-wide text expander. Incognito use is disabled. Store everyday reusable text here; use a password manager for secrets.
