Crestnote: start a social media post from any page

Share the page you are reading, the text you selected or a picture to a new Crestnote social media post, then schedule it.

Crestnote is a social media tool that follows the competitors you name, tells you when one of their posts takes off, and helps you write, plan, approve and publish your own posts. This free extension starts a new Crestnote post from whatever you are reading: an article worth sharing, a product page, a quote you want to answer. What it does - Press the Crestnote button in the toolbar: a new post opens with the page's title and address. - Select some text, right-click and choose "Share the selected text to Crestnote": the post quotes it, with the page's address below. - Right-click a picture and choose "Share this image to Crestnote": the post opens with the page's title and address, and offers to copy the picture into your Crestnote Library and add it to the post. Then, in Crestnote The post opens in a new tab in your own Crestnote account, where you choose the social accounts it goes to, edit the words and schedule it for a time or keep it as a draft. Nothing is posted until you schedule or publish it. Privacy The extension asks for two permissions: activeTab, to read the title and address of the tab you pressed it in, for that press only, and contextMenus, for its three right-click items. It holds no password or token, keeps nothing, makes no network requests of its own and runs no analytics. You need a Crestnote account as the owner or an admin of a workspace.
