Overview

Blur or block out sensitive on-screen content, persistently, for screen recording and screen sharing.

Blur it before anyone sees it. BlurSmart hides sensitive information on your screen, before you record, before you share, before it is too late. No video editing, no re-recording, no scrambling to cover something up mid-call. Three ways to blur, all one click away Draw a rectangle anywhere on the page to blur an arbitrary area, useful for content that is not a clean page element, like a video player or canvas graphic. Click any element, an image, a text block, an input field, and it is blurred instantly. Right-click anything and choose "Blur this" to hide something on the fly, mid-call, without pausing your share. Set it once, forget it Blur choices are saved automatically and reapply every time you revisit that page, so you can prepare a recurring dashboard or account page once and never think about it again. You can also blur something live, in the moment, if something unexpected shows up during a call. Built for the moment it actually matters Tested against real screen share and recording pipelines, including Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams, plus native screen recording. A blurred region stays blurred on the receiving end, not just on your own screen. Everything stays on your device BlurSmart has no backend and no account system. Blur settings are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API. Nothing you blur, or the fact that you blurred it, is ever sent anywhere. Adjustable intensity A simple slider controls how strong the blur is, from a light blur up to a full opaque block-out, so you can choose what fits the moment. Free during beta BlurSmart is currently free while in beta. It will move to a one-time license fee later, never a subscription. Early feedback shapes what ships next.
