Sentence mining from YouTube to Anki — record, trim, transcribe, send.
blur is a sentence mining tool for Chinese learners. It runs as a side panel alongside YouTube. How it works 1. Start recording with Cmd+Shift+P while watching a YouTube video. 2. Stop with Cmd+Shift+O — captures the audio and a screenshot. 3. Select the sentence you want in the waveform editor. 4. blur transcribes the Chinese and breaks down each word with pinyin and definitions. 5. Edit if needed, then send to Anki. Each Anki card includes: Chinese text, English translation, vocabulary table, audio clip, screenshot, and source link. Requirements - Gemini API key (free tier available at ai.google.dev) - Anki with the AnkiConnect add-on installed - An Anki note type with fields: Chinese, English, Vocabulary, Audio, Screenshot, Source
