This handy picture blur tool is for hiding faces, text or other details. Open a photo with the icon on it or from the right-click menu, mark what to hide and download it. No account and no server: you blur photo details inside your browser. How to blur a picture in three steps: 1. Click the blue icon on a large photo, or right-click any photo. 2. Add blur to image parts with the Rectangle or the Brush tool. 3. Press Download and save the new copy to your computer. Blur picture online right on the page. It also suits a line when you blur text in picture screenshots. Brush paints by hand; its Size slider or Alt+wheel (smooth on a touchpad) sets the width from 5 to 150. Eraser appears next to Size once the Brush is chosen. Drag it over blur on image parts you want sharp again: only that spot clears. Select an area that is already made: ➤ Choose Rectangle and click the area, even a brush stroke ➤ Drag it to move it, or drag a rectangle handle to resize ➤ Press Delete or click its round x to remove it ➤ Press Esc or click an empty spot to let go of it Strength and Softness change only the selected area: you choose how to blur something in a picture lightly and the rest hard, with a soft or sharp edge. Tick Select all areas and one move sets every area, so the effect is even. This image blur tool keeps your steps. Undo takes back each step, even Clear all, which removes every area. To blur an image completely, press the whole-picture button; press it again to switch it off. It saves the file in the format on the button; the arrow beside it lists PNG and JPG as well as WebP. Once you blur out image areas and save, the note Download started appears. Clear Icon on enlarged pictures to stop sites from showing the icon and its hint; you still open image files from the right-click menu. Soft edges is on at first; clear it to hide Softness and keep edges sharp. With Warn before closing ticked and the result not downloaded, the editor asks before closing: the browser warns in the editor tab, and the cross on the page tools asks its own question.
