K-12 web activity visibility for BlueBird Alerts schools.

BlueBird Guardian is the Chromebook companion extension for schools running BlueBird Alerts. It is deployed and managed by your district IT team — individual users do not configure it. What it does: Reports web navigation events to your school's BlueBird Alerts dashboard so administrators have visibility into browsing activity on school-managed devices Enforces district-configured content policies (block, warn, or allow by domain, URL pattern, or keyword) using Chrome's declarativeNetRequest API Detects safety-flagged keywords in URLs and page titles and surfaces them in the admin console for review Sends periodic heartbeats so IT can confirm the extension is active on enrolled devices How it's configured: BlueBird Guardian is configured entirely via Chrome Browser Cloud Management (CBCM) or your MDM's managed policy. No manual setup is required by end users. The enrollment token and school identifier are pushed silently by your IT administrator. Privacy: This extension is intended for school-managed devices only. Navigation data is reported exclusively to your school's BlueBird Alerts account and is not shared with third parties. Only domains and URLs are collected — page content is never read or transmitted.
