BlockOut – Website Blocker with No Early Unlock

Block distracting websites for a set time. No early unlock, no cheating. Free focus timer with no account and no tracking.

The website blocker you can’t cheat. Most site blockers can be switched off in two clicks, which is exactly what you do at 11pm when you “just need to check” Reddit. BlockOut doesn’t have an off switch. Pick a site, pick a time, and it stays blocked until the timer runs out. No unlock button, no pause, no shortening the timer. How it works • Click the BlockOut icon on any distracting site (YouTube, Reddit, X, news, shopping…) • Choose 15 min, 30 min, 1 hour, 2, 4 or 8 hours, or type your own • Every visit to that site (and its subdomains) hits a “Stay focused” page with a live countdown • When time’s up, BlockOut unblocks the site and takes you back to it automatically Why BlockOut • No early unlock. Blocking a site again can only extend the timer, never shorten it • Free, no account, no sign-up • No tracking: your block list never leaves your browser • Only asks for access to the sites you choose to block • Tiny and fast. Uses Chrome’s built-in blocking, so pages load normally Great for studying, deep work, ADHD focus sessions, digital detox, and breaking the doomscrolling habit.
