)Overview
Creates a mindful barrier before accessing distracting websites. Requires you to state your intention before browsing.
BlockBS puts a pause between impulse and action. When you visit a site you've flagged as distracting — Reddit, Twitter, YouTube, or anything you choose — BlockBS asks one simple question: "Why are you opening this?" Write a real reason (no keyboard mashing or copy-paste allowed), and you get a timed session. When time's up, you're asked again. No reason? The tab closes. Features: - Add any site to your monitored list - Configurable timer (5, 10, 15, or 30 minutes) - Smart validation that rejects gibberish, repeated characters, and lazy answers - Reason history so you can see your own patterns - Clean, minimal UI with no bloat BlockBS doesn't block anything. It makes you think for 10 seconds before you waste 2 hours. That's usually enough. No data collection. No accounts. No analytics. Your reasons stay on your device.
