Set your daily study goal — the minutes you want to spend reviewing Anki cards. 3. Open your Anki desktop app and study. A live timer counts only the seconds you are really reviewing. 4. Alt-tabbing to watch a video while the timer runs? Caught. ▸ Camera Check (optional) Turn on the camera gate and the timer only runs while your face is visible on screen. Walk away or look at your phone? The clock stops. Your video never leaves your computer — nothing is recorded, uploaded, or saved. ▸ Card Check The extension reads your review count through AnkiConnect. It knows when you answered a card and when you didn't. Drag it next to Anki so you can see both.
