Blister alerts you when brands or retailers from your own custom lists appear on shopping pages. Use it to avoid brands you don't want to support, remember which ones you prefer, keep track of who owns what, or watch for anything else you'd rather not have to remember every time you shop. You build the lists. Blister does the watching. Name your lists whatever you want — "Avoid", "Prefer", "Fair Trade", "Boycott XYZ" — and add one brand or retailer per line. When Blister finds one of your names on a page, it shows a small banner in the corner listing what it found and which list each match came from. Eleven major shopping sites are watched automatically out of the box, covering most large US-based online retailers. You can add more — just type in a domain, approve the permission prompt, and Blister will watch that site too. Everything runs locally. Blister does not send any information anywhere — not your lists, not the pages you visit, not anything. There is no analytics, no telemetry, no account, no server. Your lists sync across your signed-in Chrome browsers using Chrome's built-in sync (the same mechanism that syncs your bookmarks), but that's it.
