Browse Faster. Block the Noise. BlissBlock is a lightweight ad and tracker blocker that works entirely inside Chrome. It blocks ads, trackers and analytics before they load, hides the empty space they leave behind, and keeps all of your settings and statistics on your own device. No account. No servers. No tracking. Your browsing never passes through BlissBlock. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHAT IT DOES ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • Blocks ads and trackers at the network level BlissBlock uses Chrome's built-in blocking engine (declarativeNetRequest), so Chrome itself drops unwanted requests. BlissBlock never sits between you and the web, which means it adds no delay to page loads. • Hides leftover ad space Empty ad boxes, cookie banners and similar clutter are hidden with CSS, so pages look clean instead of full of gaps. • Block any element yourself Click "Block this element", point at anything on a page, preview the result and confirm. The rule applies only to that site, and nothing is saved until you confirm. • You choose what to block Turn Ads, Trackers, Analytics, Annoyances and Malicious ads on or off independently. Enable or disable each filter list, or write your own rules. • Pause on any site Pause BlissBlock on a site permanently, for 1 hour, 24 hours or 7 days. Temporary pauses end automatically. • See what was blocked A dashboard shows blocked requests by day, by category, by domain and by site, for today, the last 7 days, the last 30 days or all time. These counts are kept only on your device. • Know why something was blocked The rule inspector lists each blocked request on an open tab with the list and rule that matched it, and lets you test any URL against your rules. • Built for everyone Light and dark themes, full keyboard navigation, visible focus states and screen-reader labels throughout. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ PRIVACY FIRST ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • No account and no backend. BlissBlock works offline. • No telemetry, analytics or ads of its own. BlissBlock makes no network requests of its own. • Your browsing history is not collected or sent anywhere. • Statistics are simple counters (category, blocked domain, site, day) stored in Chrome's local storage on your device. You can clear them at any time. • No remote code. Everything BlissBlock runs is packaged with the extension. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ FILTER LISTS ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ BlissBlock ships with four curated lists, built into the extension: • BlissBlock Ads: major ad networks, ad exchanges and ad servers. • BlissBlock Trackers: tracking pixels, data brokers, analytics and telemetry. • BlissBlock Annoyances: cookie banners and push-notification prompts. • BlissBlock Base: known malvertising, pop-under and cryptomining domains. The lists are deliberately compact to keep false positives low and pages working. You can add your own rules in Settings → My rules, using a documented subset of Adblock Plus syntax. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ GOOD TO KNOW ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • BlissBlock blocks the major ad and tracking networks, not every ad on every site. • YouTube video ads are not blocked. They come from the same servers as the videos themselves, and Chrome's Manifest V3 blocking rules cannot separate them reliably. • BlissBlock is not antivirus software. The Malicious ads category is a short list of known malvertising and cryptomining domains. • Chrome's own pages and the Chrome Web Store cannot be filtered by any extension.
