No second monitor. No microphone permission. No desktop app. WHAT GETS SHARED, AND WHAT DOESN'T Most assistants in this category draw their overlay inside the web page. That makes it part of the page, and part of the capture the moment you share anything at all. GhostPilot runs in Chrome's side panel, which is browser interface rather than page content. Here is exactly where that leaves you: - Sharing a tab: NOT in the capture. - Sharing your Chrome window: NOT in the capture, if you pop the panel out into its own window first. - Sharing your entire screen: visible, like every other window you have open. That last one isn't a limitation we chose. No extension can hide from a full-screen capture, because the browser gives extensions no way to opt out of it. If your interview requires full-screen share, use the GhostPilot desktop app, which excludes its own window at the operating system level. HOW IT WORKS 1. Join your interview on any browser-based video platform 2. Open the GhostPilot side panel - it opens automatically on meeting pages 3. Start capture. GhostPilot reads the call's audio in real time 4. A question is detected, an answer appears. Usually in under two seconds It reads the audio from the call tab. It does not ask for your microphone. DURING THE INTERVIEW - Live transcription, so you can re-read a question you half-heard - Automatic question detection - nothing to click, nothing to tag - Answers written against your CV and the job description you paste in - Behavioural and technical questions handled differently, because they are different - Answer history stays scrollable, so an early answer is still there when they circle back to it CODING ROUNDS Switch to Coding mode and one shortcut captures the problem on screen, pulls out the question, and returns a worked solution with code and reasoning. In that setup the side panel is visible, and so is everything else on your desktop. The extension is the right tool for a tab-shared or unproctored coding round.
