)Overview
See the opportunity cost of online shopping prices — in time to financial freedom.
Apogee Lens quietly adds a small tag next to prices on the shopping sites you already use. Hover it, and a clean panel shows what that purchase really costs you — not just in dollars, but in time to financial freedom. Two views, both free: • Market — what that money becomes if you invested it instead (about how many shares of SPY, and its projected value over time). • Freedom — how much this purchase pushes back your own FIRE date (Financial Independence, Retire Early), based on numbers you enter once. Set your annual spending, current investments, and monthly savings a single time. After that, every price on a supported store turns into something like "this delays your freedom by ~3 weeks." It isn't a budgeting nag — it's a lens that makes the trade-off visible at the exact moment you decide to buy. Private by design. No account, no sign-up, no tracking, no analytics. Your FIRE inputs never leave your device. The only network request is a public market-data lookup (SPY price and 1-year return) — nothing about you or the pages you visit is ever sent anywhere. It works on most major shopping sites, including many Shopify stores, with more added over time. This is our first public release (v1.0). We're shipping improvements often — if you hit a bug or have an idea, please email support@apogeemoney.app. Real feedback genuinely shapes what we build next. By Apogee. For reference only — not investment advice.
