Overview

New tab opens blank page. Respects system light/dark mode preference. Works in Incognito mode.

New tab opens blank page. The background color is determined by the system light/dark mode preference. Also works properly in Incognito mode, if you allow it. In Incognito mode, the standard dark theme is preserved. No extra permissions required. Unobtrusive tab icon. Open source.* There are a number of similar extensions, but I couldn't find one that exactly fulfilled all of the above criteria. So I made this. * FYI, for any extension, there's no guarantee that the source code linked in a public repository like GitHub is the same as the source code you actually download from the Chrome Web Store. If you're ever in doubt about any extension, you can use this tool to inspect the exact source code you would be installing, without installing it: https://github.com/Rob--W/crxviewer.

THANK YOU for making this. A blank new tab page that adapts to browser theme shouldn't be so hard to find.
