TabToBook: Save Articles as EPUB for E-readers

TabToBook turns the article you're reading into a clean, e-reader-friendly EPUB, so you can read long pieces later on an e-ink screen instead of a browser tab. HOW IT WORKS 1. On any article, click the TabToBook toolbar button, right-click and choose "Save this article as EPUB", or press Alt+Shift+E. 2. A preview opens with ads, menus and clutter stripped out. Edit the title and author, leave out any image with a click, or turn images off entirely. 3. Click "Download EPUB". The file is built in your browser. 4. Works with Kindle: one click opens Amazon's official Send to Kindle page, where you sign in to Amazon and drop in the file. TabToBook never sees your Amazon account. The EPUB also works on Kobo, PocketBook, Boox, Apple Books and other EPUB readers. WHAT YOU GET • Clean reading text from news sites, blogs, docs and long-form essays (uses Mozilla's open-source Readability) • A table of contents built from the article's headings • Article images converted to e-reader-safe formats, and an optional cover from the lead image • Title, author, source link and date kept in the book's metadata • Valid EPUB 3 files (tested with the W3C EPUBCheck validator) PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, no servers, no analytics. The page you choose is processed on your computer. • TabToBook only reads a tab when you click it (the "activeTab" permission).
