With Auto shorten on, which is how the extension is installed, that address is sent to linktw.in when you open the popup. Switch Auto shorten off in Settings to send it only when you press the button. • Text you select, only when you ask LinkTwin to replace the links in it. The page is never changed. The new text goes to your clipboard. • The clipboard, to copy your link, text or QR code, and to paste when you press the paste button. • Notifications, to tell you a link is ready when you use a shortcut, the right-click menu or the address bar.
