KomaShot is a screenshot tool for everyone. Capture anything on a page in one keystroke, point things out with arrows, numbers and blur, put two captures side by side, and send it straight to chat. Everything happens on your device. No account, no watermark, nothing uploaded unless you choose to. PRIVACY AND PERMISSIONS • Screenshots and recordings stay in your browser's local storage until you delete them. • No telemetry, no analytics. The only network calls are the license key check (Lemon Squeezy) and, when you click Upload, the destination you configured with your own credentials. • Captures use the access you grant by clicking the toolbar button or pressing a shortcut, for that tab only. • Direct tab recording is optional. Without it, "Record this tab" uses the browser's share picker. When you turn it on, the browser shows its broad permission prompt; KomaShot uses it only to record the tab you start recording. • The microphone and camera are used only when you switch them on for a recording. • While a tab is recorded, KomaShot notes pointer position, clicks and scrolling on that site to place the zooms.
