Overview
A fast, private, local-first tab manager. Search, dedupe, group, and clean up tabs — nothing ever leaves your device.
TabMint is a tab manager that runs entirely on your device — no account, no cloud, no server TabMint controls, ever. - See every open tab across all your windows in one place - Search instantly by title, URL, or domain — or jump straight there from the address bar with the "tz" omnibox keyword - Find and clean up duplicate tabs, with a choice of which copy to keep - Spot tabs you haven't touched in a while and deal with them safely — close them, or just discard them from memory and keep the tab - Group tabs automatically by category (Work, Research, Email, Social...) - Save a set of tabs as a named session, restore it later, and export or import sessions as JSON to back them up or move them between machines - A guided cleanup flow: review what's suggested, choose what to close, confirm the exact count, then undo instantly if you change your mind - An options page to tune the stale-tab threshold and the toolbar badge - Keyboard shortcuts to open TabMint and jump to search, customizable at chrome://extensions/shortcuts Why local-first matters: TabMint requests only the two Chrome permissions it actually needs (tabs, storage) — no host permissions, no ability to read the content of any page you visit. Your tab titles and URLs are only ever used on your own device to power search, duplicate detection, and saved sessions. Nothing is transmitted anywhere.
