Get your Facebook friends' birthdays and export them to your Calendar of choice

UPDATE: as of December 2024 some changes on Facebook end made the extension not work as expected. This has been fixed with the 1/1/2025 release. --- This extension allows you to collect your Facebook friends' birthdays in a Calendar friendly format (.ical) so you can take them to your Calendar tool of choice. It's been tested with Google Calendar and works fine. It generates a yearly event with your friend's birthday and some additional information such as the year they were born (if available) and the link to their Facebook page. It takes about 10 minutes on an Apple M1 to collect the data for a user with 500 friends. Please visit birthdays.social for more info.
