Birthday Spotlight is a lightweight Chrome extension that shows which well-known people from a built-in local list share today’s birthday. It is designed as a quick daily curiosity tool—open the popup and instantly see birthday matches for the current date. The extension reads today’s date on your device, compares it with a curated offline birthday list, and displays any matching names along with a short role note. If no one on the list has a birthday today, the popup clearly shows that there are no matches. Birthday Spotlight works entirely inside its own popup and uses only local data stored in the extension. It does not access contacts, calendars, websites, browsing history, accounts, or remote birthday databases. It does not collect, store, or share personal information. This extension is intended for users who want a simple, privacy-friendly “who was born today” experience with no unnecessary permissions.
