You're already searching Google Maps for local businesses. BirdSift turns that same search into a verified lead list — without retyping anything. Open a Google Maps search (for example, "plumbers in Austin, TX"), click the BirdSift icon, review or edit the query, and press Enter. BirdSift opens at app.birdsift.com and runs the search for you. How it works 1. Browse Google Maps as you normally would. 2. Click the BirdSift toolbar icon. 3. The popup shows your Maps search, prefilled and editable. 4. Press Enter to open BirdSift and run the search. If you're on a single business page instead of a search, BirdSift can seed the location so you can type a category ("more like this") before running. What BirdSift does with your search BirdSift finds local businesses, verifies each one against Google Places, and flags leads worth contacting — for example, businesses with no real website or an outdated site. Filter, save, export, and draft outreach from the web app. Privacy This extension does not collect or store data. When you click the icon, it reads your active tab's URL only to prefill the Google Maps search you are viewing. It does not inject scripts into pages or track your browsing. When you submit, it opens app.birdsift.com with your query. Account and credits BirdSift requires a free account at app.birdsift.com. New accounts receive 25 free credits.
