Overview

Reads state court registers of actions in your own browser, for your Birdlaw matters.

Birdlaw Court Reader lets your Birdlaw account read a California superior court's register of actions from inside your own browser. Five California superior courts check every visitor's browser before they will show a case: San Diego, San Francisco, Alameda, San Mateo and Contra Costa. A person passes those checks simply by using their browser. This extension reads the case page there, in your own session, and hands it to your Birdlaw account, which turns the register into a calendar of deadlines. It reads only the six court addresses listed in its permissions, and only when your Birdlaw account asks for a specific case you have entered. It never answers a court's security check, never fills in a court's form, and sends nothing anywhere except back to your own Birdlaw account. The other four California superior courts Birdlaw supports, Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino and Santa Clara, need nothing installed. You need a Birdlaw account to use this extension.
