Overview

Bilingual translation of any web page, right below each line. Read line by line to learn a language from real articles.

Read any web page with its translation right below each line. A news article, a Wikipedia page, a blog: one click on the extension and the original text stays where it is, with its translation into the language you have chosen. A simple way to learn a language by reading what interests you. Four layouts to choose from: • Synchronised line-by-line: the translation right below each line, piece by piece. You see exactly which words translate which, whereas most translators simply place a translated paragraph under the original one. • Two columns: the original and its translation side by side. • Paragraph by paragraph: each paragraph followed by its translation. • Translation only: the whole page translated. What you read stays yours. The translation is done by the translator built into Chrome, on your computer. To split the sentences and align them, the text goes through our servers in France, which do not keep it: it is processed and then discarded. Comfortable reading: • Colours adapted to the page background, on light and dark websites alike. • "Always translate in this tab": the next pages translate by themselves. • Alt + Shift + L shortcut to translate the page or go back to the original. • Appearance settings: fonts, text sizes, colours, spacing and ready-made themes. Price: 15 free pages to try it, then €3.99 a month, cancel at any time from your account. The extension needs a Polyglot Publishing account and Chrome 138 or newer, on a computer. Some pages and some language combinations may not be supported. Bilingual Translator is made by Polyglot Publishing, a publisher of bilingual books: we publish literary classics in bilingual editions, as ebooks and in print, with the translation right below each line. https://www.polyglot-publishing.com
