Bigson — Big JSON Viewer

Open huge JSON and NDJSON payloads without freezing the tab. No network access, no telemetry, no accounts.

Bigson opens JSON that crashes other viewers. A 120MB API dump opens in about half a second. A 600MB file, bigger than Chrome can even hold as a string, opens in about four seconds. Other viewers create one page element per JSON value, so a document with eight million values tries to create eight million elements. Bigson draws only the ~60 rows on screen. WHAT IT DOES • Takes over any JSON or NDJSON page automatically. Logs and plain text are left alone • Tree, Pretty and Raw views, all searchable, all smooth at millions of lines • Search the whole document and jump from match to match • Keyboard navigation: arrows, PgUp/PgDn, Home/End, Enter to fold • Copy a node as JSON, or copy its path ($.users[3].address.city) • 64-bit ids keep every digit. 1234567890123456789 is not rounded to …800 • Handles the )]}' anti-XSSI prefix and byte-order marks • Drop a file or paste text into the toolbar page. Files past 400MB use a byte index (14 bytes per value) PRIVACY Bigson makes no network requests of any kind. It has no analytics, no telemetry, no remote config and no account. Its only access is reading the page it is showing, to tell whether that page is JSON. Your JSON is parsed in the tab that shows it and never leaves your machine. This is checked before every release with a scan of the shipped code. LIMITS, HONESTLY • Pages over 64MB are not taken over automatically, so a page you only navigated to can't exhaust the tab's memory.
