SiteAud!tLint Lite is a browser-based site audit extension that checks the page you are viewing for SEO, analytics, tracking, and technical issues directly in Chrome. Built for SEO specialists, marketers, analysts, developers, and website owners who need to quickly understand what is happening on a page. SEO CHECK FOR ANY PAGE Run an audit on the page you are viewing without leaving your browser. SiteAud!tLint Lite checks: Meta title and meta description for missing tags, length issues, and search preview information. HTTP status and redirects, including the current status code and redirect chain. Indexing directives, including canonical URLs, robots directives, noindex settings, and X-Robots-Tag. Robots.txt and AI crawler access, including whether major search and AI crawlers are blocked. Heading structure, including H1s, other heading levels, and skipped heading levels. Structured data, including JSON-LD markup and detected syntax issues. Social and international SEO, including Open Graph metadata and hreflang attributes. Images and HTTPS, including missing alt text, missing dimensions, and mixed-content issues. Internal and external links, including link attributes and vague anchor text. AI answer readiness, including question-style headings and page elements related to answer-focused search. TAG AND TRACKING AUDIT Inspect analytics and marketing tags detected on the page. The extension identifies tracking technologies, shows detected IDs where available, and highlights potential configuration problems. The audit looks for issues such as: Duplicate tracking implementations. Repeated tags or pixels. Duplicate page-view events. Multiple analytics properties on the same page. Tracking configurations that appear incomplete or incorrectly configured. Legacy analytics code. Sensitive information included in URLs. These checks help you investigate whether tracking is being implemented consistently and whether your analytics data is likely to contain avoidable problems. SEE INSIDE THE PAGE'S TAG MANAGER CONFIGURATION When a published tag manager container is available on the page, SiteAud!tLint Lite displays the tags and their configuration. Review detected tags, destinations, event names, and triggers, including page views, form submissions, link clicks, and custom events. No tag manager login is required to inspect the published container already loaded by the page. WATCH EVENTS FIRE, LIVE Open the Live tab and interact with the page. Click links, submit forms, add products to a cart, or perform other actions while SiteAud!tLint Lite records the tracking requests generated by the page. Review analytics events, advertising conversions, marketing pixels, and other tracking activity as events are sent. This helps you determine whether expected events are firing and identify duplicate or unexpected tracking activity. CONSENT CHECK Check whether tracking activity occurs before visitor consent. SiteAud!tLint Lite detects common consent management systems and consent-related signals, including Consent Mode implementations. Review the consent state associated with detected tracking activity and identify events or requests sent before consent. SHARE THE RESULTS Make audit findings easier to communicate with developers, marketers, and clients. Copy audit results into a ticket, email, or project discussion. Export findings to CSV for further analysis. Each detected issue includes an explanation and suggested direction for fixing the problem. PRIVATE BY DESIGN SiteAud!tLint Lite performs its analysis inside your browser. The extension does not send your audit results to SiteAud!Lint. The extension only makes external requests required for specific checks, such as retrieving the site's robots.txt file and accessing a published tag manager container loaded by the page.
