DocVoice helps you listen to, understand, and study the content you’re reading. Use DocVoice with web pages, Google Docs, PDFs, Word documents, scanned PDFs, and images. Read full documents aloud, read selected text, continue from where you left off, and use study tools built around the current document. Local AI Uses Ollama running on your own computer. Document content stays on your computer for Local AI requests. Gemini Uses cloud AI for features you explicitly request, such as summaries, explanations, document questions, flashcards, quizzes, and Study Packs. Privacy: DocVoice does not collect your browser history or sell your personal information. Text-to-speech, Basic processing, and OCR run locally. When Local AI is selected, requests are sent only to your local Ollama service. When Gemini is selected, the relevant document or selected text is sent to the DocVoice cloud backend only when you explicitly start a Gemini-powered action. DocVoice is designed to make reading and studying easier without requiring users to understand complicated AI or developer settings.
