How it works Every comment is scored using a composite readability metric that evaluates vocabulary richness, word length, and comment structure. Comments that fall below your chosen threshold are hidden automatically — no AI, no APIs, just maths. Three filtering levels • Off — Show everything (default) • High school — Hides simple reactions, memes, and short replies • University — Keeps only detailed, analytical comments Per-subreddit overrides Set different rules for different communities. Filter r/AskScience strictly while leaving r/funny untouched. Override settings are stored per subreddit and take effect immediately. Media filter Optionally hide image and GIF-only comments across any subreddit.
