printing

The program is not allowing me to print recipes. It says I don't have Acrobat reader on my system but it is on my system. What needs to be done to fix this?

Unable to import recipes from a file.

I am trying to import recipes into Gourmet from an XML file, but to no avail. I believe this recipe collection was saved from the gourmet program running on Ubuntu a couple of years ago.Is it the xml suffix it doesn't like?
