Folderist for Gemini: Folders, Search, Export

Folders, full-text search, saved prompts and export for your AI chats. Free. Local-first: nothing leaves your browser.

Gemini is good at answering and bad at remembering where the answer went. Folderist adds the missing filing cabinet, inside the Gemini page, without changing how you chat. Folders File any conversation into a folder, straight from Gemini's own sidebar. Rename, move, reorganise whenever. Folders survive reloads and new tabs. Full-text search Search inside every chat you've opened, not just titles. Results show the matching passage and take you straight to the conversation. Saved prompts Keep the prompts you retype. Add blanks with {{name}} and fill them in when you insert, straight into the composer. Export Markdown, plain text or JSON, with who-said-what kept in order. Or copy as Markdown and paste into your notes. Private by construction Folderist has no server. Folders, prompts and the search index live in your browser's own storage, on your device. No account, no analytics, no network requests. The only permission it asks for is local storage on gemini.google.com. Free Everything above is free during launch, with no limits. A Pro edition with PDF export, folder export, bulk delete and device sync is coming; what is free today stays free. Open the panel with the folder button at the bottom right of the page, or press Alt+K. Folderist is not affiliated with Google. Gemini is a trademark of Google LLC.
