Out of order

The extension stopped working for me. I don't know the exact problem, When I click it and it refreshes the page, it works. Otherwise It's not working.

Extension is broken/ doesn't work anymore.

The extension does not mute or skip ads anymore. I see Youtube ads like normal again.

Would love to get rid of the "Enabled" overlay at the bottom-left of the screen.

It's very distracting when watching full-screen videos, especially dark ones.

the polling and the blurring

I took a peek at the code and noticed a few possible areas of improvement:
1) The extension unconditionally polls for 'ad-interrupting' element every 100ms. This seems wasteful. The other extension sets up event listeners for playback and seeking.
2) The extension applies a blur and greyscale filter on the ad. Depending on how efficiently the browser and gpu deal with this, this might be a resource-intensive gimmick. It will also most likely result in the ad view getting invalidated if Youtube detects this sort of tampering, since the user can't properly see or hear the ad anymore. I recommend removing this.
3) The extension adds some overlay text via css. I am not sure if this adds any value, since progress is already visible on the video seek bar. And again, I would be wary of layering anything directly on top of live video playback, unless I properly understood the performance impact.

Turning developer mode breaks it

Turning developer mode in chrome breaks Youmute.
Popups are keep coming.
Turning off or reinstalling - does not help

Songs keep repeating

When I have YouMute active, videos just repeat themselves. It will mute the ads but then the song I just listened to plays again, Any way to solve this issue?

Split muting ads and skipping ads options

I would like the option to mute ads and not skip them so I can support the channel a bit more. Sometimes the ads are maybe 10 seconds longer than if you skipped them and I'm fine with waiting a bit more. If I notice there hasn't been a video playing for a while (while listening to music videos) I could switch to the tab manually and skip the long ads manually. So I would suggest splitting up Mute Ads and Skip Ads. They would still be on by default, but we would have the option to not skip ads.

А small addition

In principle, your addition is excellent, but there are times when commercials are skipped instantly. I would like to see the setting after how many seconds automatically close the advertisement. After all, when an advertisement closes instantly the same is not protected or am I wrong?)
