Nope 2 Overlays

I removed an initial overlay on a web site using your extension, but when I attempted to download their software further down the page, it would not work. Is this because the download link behaves like an overlay or popup? If so, can I selectively bypass the Nope 2 Overlays function once it has been enabled for that website? Or, do I need to reload the page and put up with the initial overlay?
